Instructors have different requirements for formatting papers. I'm not suggesting that my way is the best. What I do insist upon, however, is that you learn to be flexible and adapt to the demands that various instructors have. In the future, papers that are not formatted according to the specifications we give will be returned ungraded. You will not have an opportunity to rewrite the exam. So please review these tips and ask for help. You'll be glad you did.
These videos show how to produce the basic format I'm looking for: 1 inch margins on all sides, double spaced (with no extra space between paragraphs), and that "evil" header in the upper right hand corner. If you received a NP Format on your diagnostic, please review these instructions. And remember that MS Word isn't the only game in town. Open Office is 100% free. While it doesn't have all the bells and whistles MS Word has, it does a perfectly acceptable job (with some help).
