Due the budget cuts, I will not be teaching classes (* are class days) or doing course-related activities on the following days:

(this list includes University-wide furlough days - in red)

September: Fri 4th and Tues 8th*

October: Tues 6th*, Fri 23rd and Mon 26

November: Tues 10th*

December: Tues 8th* and Mon 21st

Jan: Tues 5th

Education in the state of California is a disgrace and getting worse. Can't get units to keep your financial aid or health insurance? Classes full? Not happy sitting on the floor? Here's a complaint form (pdf)

Please become engaged in reversing this. The California Faculty Association has provided the following information to assist faculty and students in responding to this unprecedented crisis.The governor and legislature have not given CSU the money to do its job; so course sections, class meetings, and office hours have all been cut.  If you think it is wrong to pay more money for less education, tell our state representatives that they need to refund the CSU System; tell our members of congress that we need a bail-out, too.
